Flyin' Dale O'Brian

Dale O’Brian was born in a briar patch…and he’s got the scratches to prove it! Well, it’s not that bad.

Dale O’Brian was born in a briar patch…and he’s got the scratches to prove it! Well, it’s not that bad. Dale grew up in the country on the outskirts of Nowhere about a mile from Over Yonder. One day, while out walking in the woods, he came across a bag of half eaten Andy Capp’s Hot Fries. They were delicious. Later that night, listening to the radio, he decided that he wanted to be a disc jockey, and the rest is history. Dale went on to grace the airwaves of a number of radio stations. Along the way, he was able to convince a woman to marry him. They had two sons, both of whom are smarter and better looking than Dale…thank the Lord for small favors. One graduated from The University of Kentucky and the other from Centre College. After paying for all this higher education, Dale found himself dead broke. He bought a metal detector, a pair of board shorts and some Crocs and sought to make his fortune digging up loose change along the banks of Lake Cumberland. After amassing $3.78 he decided to retire from Treasure Hunting and get back on the radio at Froggy Country. You can hear him every afternoon from 2 to 7.
