Good morning.Joseph Fleming has officially assumed leadership of the consolidated City of DuBois. To celebrate the transition, all municipal buildings and city offices will temporarily close today between eleven in the morning and one in the afternoon so employees can attend a welcome luncheon for the new manager. Clearfield County President Judge Paul Cherry administered the oath of office, concluding a nineteen-month interim management period following the formal unification of DuBois and Sandy Township.Meanwhile, thirty-five-year-old Dalton Gene Dickey of DuBois has been sentenced to serve ten months to five years in state prison. Dickey pleaded guilty to felony counts of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine. The charges stem from a state police investigation where Dickey sold multiple quantities of the drug to undercover officers during scheduled meetings in DuBois.And the Brockway Old Fashioned Fourth of July celebration successfully wrapped up its historic sixtieth anniversary over the holiday weekend.
